Applications are invited for the post of University Lecturer in Astrostatistics.

Astrostatistics is the application of statistics to solve the challenges posed by massive and complex datasets in modern astrophysics. This is an inter-disciplinary field in which advances in astrophysics and statistics are obtained by the analysis and interpretation of astronomical datasets.

Applications are invited in any area of astrostatistics, including its theoretical, methodological and computational aspects. The field includes computational statistics, inference, algorithm development, machine learning, data mining, pattern recognition, data visualization, signal processing and parameter estimation.
