Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Mathematics Education @ University College Dublin

University College Dublin is seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Mathematics Education in the School of Mathematics and Statistics.

UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics, along with the College of Science and the School of Education, has recently launched four new programes in Science and Mathematics Education. These five-year initial teacher education programmes (4-year BSc plus 1-year MSc) are aimed at educating post-primary Mathematics and Science teachers, and  are accredited by the Teaching Council.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage with the following: teaching within the School; conducting mathematics education research; and, contributing to administration, with a particular focus on the Science and Mathematics Education Programmes.
