UQ College is an exciting innovation in education and training offering pathway programs and career development through Tertiary Preparation Programs and an Associate Degree in Business.

The College has an exciting new online VET program delivering 10397NAT Certificate IV in Adult Tertiary Preparation. This high quality online learning and assessment product has been developed by the College is now seeking casual teachers to deliver the following three University preparation specialisation units online –
- Online Academic English and Preparation for Study
- Online Chemistry and
- Online Mathematics B
The program commences on the 2nd October 2018. Teachers will be required for program development activities during September. Thereafter during the delivery phase, engagement with the College team at the St Lucia campus will be required on Monday afternoons. A work from home arrangement is envisaged for other times during the week giving teachers flexibility.
Each subject will require 8 hours of teaching time per week (with the expectation of an additional 4 hours of associated work).
You must have a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and minimum of 3 years teaching experience in tertiary education and hold a qualification in the relevant discipline area(s) at Bachelors level or above. A teaching qualification and experience delivering the subjects in Foundation and /or in Tertiary Preparation Programs and/or Y12 will be well regarded and experience in Online education is desirable.
