The FYiMaths workshop is now an annual event and provides an opportunity for mathematicians, statisticians and mathematics educators to meet, hear about the latest teaching innovations, share experiences and develop strategies to address the significant challenges in undergraduate mathematics education. The workshops are interactive, practical and collegial and will be beneficial for anyone teaching in undergraduate mathematics and statistics.

This year Dr Lara Alcock, from the Mathematics Education Centre at Loughborough University, was our keynote speaker.

When: 6–7 July 2015
Where: School of Mathematics and Statistics, the University of Melbourne
