The Australian Conference on Science and Mathematics Education (The 22nd UniServe Science Conference) is an opportunity for tertiary science and mathematics educators to share ideas and keep up to date. This conference will encompass biological sciences, chemistry, geosciences, health sciences, information technology, learning and cognitive sciences, mathematics and statistics, molecular and microbial sciences, physics and psychology as well as the various fields of the applied sciences. 

Theme: ‘The 21st Century Science and Maths Graduate: What is the place of our STEM graduates in the world? How do we prepare them?’

7-9 August 2016 ACER Research Conference- Improving STEM Learning. What will it take? Brisbane

ACER’s (Australian Council for Education Research) Research Conference 2016 will be centred around the importance of STEM learning in schools. Australian students decline in science and mathematics, as well as the decline in STEM study in high school, the shortage of highly qualified STEM teachers and curriculum challenges and other relevant topics will also be explored throughout.

This conference aims to promote STEM learning in schools and how to spark interest within students when it comes to STEM learning. Registration is now open. Overview, program and registration information here.
